Very nice list,

I don’t think it ever gets easy to leave them – whether it’s for a trip of just for a night out. While I need the nights out, sometimes I feel bad for not picking them up after work or not getting to tuck them in at night.

The kids will be fine with the Grandmothers – I mean just look at how you and DJ turned out… only slightly twisted and insane so it can’t be that bad, right?

After this the boys will be begging to stay with the grandparents and you’ll have more opportunities to get away with DJ.

Dear God in Heaven, aren’t you a brave soul baring that list for the grandmothers to see. I would run screaming to the hills. Or prepare a room for them with padded walls and macaroni.

I kid! I’m not sure where you’re going (I’ll have to read further down your blog to find out), but I hope that you have a grand time! Unless you’re going into the hospital for surgery or something, and in that case, I hope everything turns out okay. Regardless, please come back soon. My daughter did the same thing to me a few months ago when I got to have the girls for one night. We all survived. In fact, we had a grand time. Grandmother’s are notorious for being able to care for little ones. It might be from the experience they had to earn Grandmother status!
