Take Me Out To The Ballgame
We went to the Dodger game yesterday with Mike, Heather & Maddie.
Heather’s mom, Linda B., was also there with her best friend.
It was a great game. I’m pretty sure the Dodgers won.
I’m not entirely sure, though, because I didn’t pay much attention.
I was too busy chatting with Heather & drinking beer. LOTS of beer.
Zach was sporting some SERIOUS Dodger Blue.
His shirt had the number 55 on it. Which is, apparently, Ricky Martin’s* number.
I wasn’t aware that Ricky Martin now plays for the Dodgers. He’s so multi talented.
Dylan, although a bit disheveled, thought the experience was pretty awesome.
And some guy named Maaaaaaaanny, or Ma-nny, hit a home run.
Or he may have struck out. I’m not sure, but people were really happy about it.
Except for Dylan, who was NOT amused by all the noise created by all the cheering.
Here’s Maddie sleeping again.
Zach took advantage of the time Maddie spent sleeping to hit on Heather.
It started to develop into quite a love affair.
Mike made it easy for Zach to move in on Heather.
He was busy eating…again.
But then Maddie woke up, Zach forgot all about Heather, and they posed for their engagement photos.
Kind of like Mike & Heather did a few years ago.
It was fun. Maddie is as freakin’ adorable in real life as you’d expect her to be. And I have a feeling I’ll be reporting on many more adventures to come…
*I’m being informed, indignantly, that it’s not RICKY Martin, it’s RUSSELL Martin. That makes more sense.
But it’s an easy mistake.

Great photos! Except, er, the ones of me eating. How am I supposed to get sympathy when I complain about my weight on my site when you blow my cover about pigging out?!?!?
We had a great time with you, by the way!

I’m glad you had a great time. I was going to comment on #55 being Russell Martin, not Ricky Martin but you caught yourself. Heather, Mike and Maddie are a great looking family just like you guys are. I better get the wedding announcement.

Maddie is going to be so pissed when she finds out about Zach’s thing for her mom. “And here’s to you, Mrs. Robinson” might have been a more appropriate caption!

Maddie’s mom has got it goin’ on……Maddie’s mom has got it goin’ on….
I don’t know how he can resist Maddie’s eyes, though. They’re just adorable.
Looks like fun, and Russell Martin looks pretty yummy!

You missed mentioning My Favorite Martin, Mary. Otherwise, the photos are fantastic! Zach, Maddie and Mr. Dylan couldn’t be more photogenic. Just a small correction: I believe Dylan’s first professional baseball game was in Memphis — I know it’s AAA, but they do get paid, kind of!

If you keep pushing those 2 together they will feel more like brother and sister. Eew.
Glad you all had fun! Except for that blue thing. Would have been better if the color was red. (Hee hee!)

You may have inherited Manny and all his ATTITUDE but we’ve still got Big Papi and Yooooooouuuuuuuuuk!
I thought baseball games were just an excuse to eat crap and drink bad draft beer.

Aw! That little collage is totally going in their wedding video!!! You forgot to mention that when Maddie was awake, she ATTACKED Zach with open mouth kisses. She loves older men – just like her mom. Although really, Zach is giving Mike a run for his money.
