Yeah, I don't get girls anymore either. That oughta make seeing my nieces next week interesting. My boys are just flummoxed by girls. If they have one around, they flex and prance and pose and don't even know they're doing it. Cracks me up. I don't think I could play tea party or Barbies or crap like that if you paid me at this point. I just don't think I'm able. LOL! But I build a mean train track, have noooo problem saying penis in mixed company, and call my boys Farty McFart Fart. Ah....I love having boys. I have several good lip hair removal methods. I’m happy to share if you’d like! :0) I’m not 100% sure what’s available in (on?) Saipan, though. Or what’s safe when you’re pregnant. SO…maybe I shouldn’t give you any suggestions.

I had a girl at my house on Thursday for a few hours. It was funny watching how my boys just cave into her every request. All she had to do was let out a high pitched shriek and they would say, “oh, fine. here you go.” And the thing is, so did I. She was just so freaking adorable….and PINK.

Couldn’t agree with you more. WEIRD. WEIRD. WEIRD, but true. We are going to a 8 year old girl’s birthday party and I walked aimlessly around Target for an hour figuring out what to get. Not a problem with the boy presents. They are a cinch.

I get the whole mystery thing. Giggles was not the typical girl, she wanted dump trucks and shovels to dig in the yard. Upper lip hair? That’s totally cool (gag), I mean it’s not gross at all (vomit).

NOTE: for those offended I’ve met Meghan in person and she does not have discernable upper lip hair and is perfectly aesthetically pleasing.

Also…as a dad to a little girl I understood this post. I LOVE my little girl and will be all about My Little Pony or whatever she is into in a year or two. As Kristen says, it’s all about what comes out of your womb, or, er, weiner nine months earlier.

See, I’ve got it from both camps here at our house. Tons of girlie crap, and mountains of boy stuff, too. Bionicles or Pokemon ALL THE TIME. With a simultaneous channel of My Little Pony (growing out of that now) and Webkinz. Oh my god, the Webkinz.
