The blogging community is awesome – there is just no other word. The reason I have a blog at all is *because* I was touched so deeply by the stories – both tragic and joyful – of others who are brave enough to share them.

We may not know them “IRL” – face-to-face – but the faces and stories of Maddie and countless others are OUR people. We feel about them as deeply as we do our own families.

Thank you K, and thank you AMTB for remind me of this amazing community that is continuing to build.

K's got a way with words. Even if she doesn't START a post, I'm sure she could find people that would let her guest post. Hell, I'd let her, but I'm not sure she'd be keen on posting to "irrational dad". I think about the Spohrs everyday. HeadlessMom told me about Maddie. I went right to their site last week. That was the day of the service. I am a new blogger. Your tree donation is wonderful.
