I have never stopped thinking of the Spohrs and what a wonderful family they have. It’s mind boggling how people you don’t even know can change your life and make you feel something deep everyday. They are so lucky to have an amazing friend like you. At a time when so many are afraid to stay by and go through the ridiculous, emotional roller coaster, you are right there beside them making sure their beautiful daughter is never forgotten. We need more friends like you.

I remember that day well.
I remember where I was when I found out.
I remember holding myself together, because the people around me couldn’t be disturbed and couldn’t fully comprehend.
I remember crying a heck of a lot in the days and weeks that followed; being set off by blog entries and non-digital things, too.

I remember Maddie every day. And so, she is alive in our hearts.

I remember the day very well too it was the day that I hugged my daughter really hard and sobbed for what seemed forever. Sweet little angel, you will always be missed.
