Wherfore Art Thou, Romeo?
Why, here I am, Juliet!
Reclining by this lovely miniature bridge!
But, OH. I find myself suddenly so very tired. I think I will rest my head upon my fist.
These are Dylan’s preschool pictures, in case you hadn’t figured that out already. They were taken the first week of November and I picked them up on Monday.
They CRACK ME UP.
They also provided an explanation for this, which was nice, as I had been puzzled by his pose:
We also visited Santa on Thursday. Dylan had decided he would “stand next to him” since “some kids do that.” He requested an airplane that drops presents and a robot that makes cotton candy. Let me tell you, Santa is very concerned about being able to furnish these gifts.
Zach was not AT ALL interested in even looking in Santa’s general direction. Until the photographer spent 10 minutes bribing him with toy trucks and candy canes. We eventually convinced him to sit on the floor in front of Santa, with the understanding Santa would NOT make eye contact or speak to him or, god forbid, touch him.

Let me know about that cotton candy robot. I want one, too.
When Dylan is a senior in high school, you have to take out a little ad in the back of the yearbook with these pictures.

They did better than Catie. She flipped out when it was her turn to walk up to Santa and clamped onto my neck like a lamprey eel. No pic for us since she wouldn’t unbury her face from my hair to look at the camera. Sigh. Kids are fun.

Maybe it’s all the college football I’ve been watching, but he totally looks like a southern football boy.

Loving the shots and his posing for you on the beach.
I also love that you had to bribe Zach to get anywhere near Santa, reminds me of Giggles, altho she couldn’t be bought.

I’m dying laughing over Dylan’s beach pose – we have the same preschool posed pics for our 4 1/2 year old, but I haven’t seen him breat out that pose on his own before. It’s very “ladies man” – and PRICELESS!
Cute boys you gotz there!
